National Research Council Nepal a non-profitable organization was established on 2nd June 2013 AD (2070/02/19 BS) by the Government of Nepal as an autonomous and umbrella organization of research sector under the Organization Registration Act, 2006. It is one of the well- established, highly prestigious research center as well as Non- profitable organization in Nepal led by educators & research team which offers truly international standard research as well as research preparation classes by highly qualified faculties. National Research Council Nepal closely works with different national and international level organizations for sustainable development, assists and encourages students, teachers, young researchers to address current issues through journals and magazines, active participation in national and international conferences and research. It also provides consultation services to government concerned authorities to make policies for the public with the help of renowned faculties. The institute takes a comprehensive view of research and aims at serving the cause of objectives of natural resource management and conservation, applied research on the Climate change, biodiversity, Soil and water management, Agriculture, archaeology, health and sanitation, gender issue, Wildlife Conservation, Geology, Geophysics, Geochemistry, renewable energy, ecology of both flora, fauna and the development of human resources through in-country training, in wildlife techniques, community participation techniques, community forestry, conservation education Medical and Health education. The principal means of action are Research, Rescue, RRM Training, Education and Dissemination of Information through seminars/ workshops/colloquium etc. NRCN closely works with different national and international level organizations, University, NGO, INGO for sustainable development.

It also provides consultation services to government concerned authorities to make policies for the public with the help of renowned faculties to promote socially environmental conservation and sustainable development by generating rigorous interdisciplinary knowledge that engages actively with academia, policymakers, practitioners, activists, students, and wider public audiences.
